School Dinners

St James’ school meals are prepared on site daily using fresh produce and ingredients.

The healthy food choices on our menu’s comply with the Government’s School Food Standards, which are intended to help children develop healthy eating habits and ensure they get the energy and nutrition they need.

The Menu may be subject to change due to supplier restraints.

Our Promise:

Provide a Vegetarian & Halal option daily.
Fresh Fruit will be offered as a alternative dessert daily.
Fresh Bread and salad bar will accompany every meal.
A carbohydrate will be incorporated in to the whole dish unless otherwise stated.
Fresh drinking water will be on offer every day.

Children can choose between 2 healthy hot meals or a jacket filled potato every day. To guarantee children receive their choice we ask them to pick their meal choice the day before from the options sheet which can be downloaded below.
