Year 5 News
As part of their Victorian studies, Year 5 had a local walk to learn about our local history and the transportation links and mills of Smithy Bridge. The children made observations about the ages of the buildings, what they found interesting about the buildings, the workings of the water systems and the use of Rochdale canal. They even got some great exercise in, walking an impressive 4 and 1/2 miles there and back! Great work Year 5!
