Reception’s fun day at the farm
The Reception Class children had an amazing time yesterday on their summer trip to Smithills Open Farm where they had the opportunity to feed the animals and go on a donkey ride!
They also saw how the cows were milked and shown how the milk is bottled up straight away and sold in the shop! The children enjoyed a variety of animals such as piglets, goats and even cuddled baby rabbits and chicks!
We all had a fantastic time and we were so lucky with the weather! Reception, you were incredible and a real credit to St James’ throughout the trip. We hope you all enjoyed it.
