The Fire Service visits St James’
The children in EYFS and KS1 had an amazing time when the fire service came to visit our school. The children got to try out the hose pipe and really enjoyed getting each other wet from the water spray!
Miss Filkin even got to try on the fire safety equipment but found it extremely hot!! The children also got to listen to Fireman Lee Oldham and his team talked about fire safety and also how important it is to wear a seat belt even for short journeys.
