A Day out at the Zoo
Earlier this half term our children in Year 1 and Year 2 had an incredible trip to Blackpool Zoo to support their learning in science.
Year 2 had a great time spotting different baby animals and linking in to their learning on how young animals grow and develop over time.
Year 1 were able to identify and describe the features of lots of the animals they saw and could even start to identify which animal group they belonged too.
All the children were brilliantly behaved and a wonderful time was had by all the children and staff alike. Well done Year 1 and Year 2! You represented St James’ marvellously!
