A World Record for Year 3, 5 and 6!

Recently, our Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 joined over 100,000 children from across the world in an attempt to achieve a new Guinness World Record for the largest poetry lesson in multiple venues. The children had to help the poet, Laura Mucha, edit a poem by voting on their favourite ideas.

After collectively completing a successful and entertaining poem, the children then created some of their own fantastic poems all about what they are counting and who they are counting on. We are incredibly proud of their unique ideas and the courage they had to read their poems out to the rest of their classes.

Well done!
